Claxton's Exploration Series - Benelux Release
Together with Claxton's we worked hard again to make new barrels available for the Benelux. This time a set we are very happy with. An ideal mini tasting for everyone.
First, a very classy Tamnavulin, aged in a Ruby Port Hogshead. This 6-year-old expression is bottled at 50% and is brimming with purple fruit notes. A true summer dessert. Also, a very surprising Blair Athol. This 7-year-old whisky has been aged in Brandy casks. The result is a full, creamy dram with notes of macaroons and almonds. Finally, of course, the perfect match for peat lovers. A 6-year-old Croftengea with an Oloroso Sherry maturation. Sweet smoke, full-bodied and as Hans describes it: mystically versatile. Also included is the latest batch of the popular Grain Barn. Again, this one is 30 years old and bottled at 48%.

Flavor: Warming and special, Yellow Fruit, Orange Bitters

Nose: Sweet Smoke, Orange Bitters, Oakwood, Syrup, Cut Grass
